Small Town, Big People: Rob Wing

Aug 31, 2011 by

When Rob Wing’s father passed away, he was looking for a proper way to honor and remember his father. Mr. Wing thought of a few different ways to accomplish this, but after discussion with (Romeo Library Board Member) Elizabeth Miller, he decided that creating a garden in front of the Kezar Library would be a fitting tribute. Mr. Wing explains that his father grew up in England, and was an avid gardener, so he decided to donate his time and finances toward making this garden something his father would be proud of. Now, everyone in Romeo can see this wonderful garden, when they walk up to (or past) Kezar Library, and Mr. Wing (who lives at the top of Church Street) can see this garden and remember his late/great father.
